Treadways Kitchen is a labour of love created in St Catherine, Jamaica. The brand's founders started the business selling to a small clientele by the bottle or the case. Tasked with creating a logo, business card and labels for their pepper sauce, we decided on an earthy palette and bold approach to capture the energy of the Treadways Kitchen team and the earthy vibe of the land they love.
The original bottles were labelled in Sharpie on masking tape. With an original hand-drawn logo accompanied by fonts with a simiar style, the aim was to capture the brand's farm-to-table story. Original illustrations of the ingredients are used as the background for each flavor. The finished labels have the logo in red.
